Washable Bed Pad; Abena’s bed protection concept has been developed in close cooperation with end users, care staff and our own nurse specialists.
These products are a natural part of Abena’s customized solution for hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home care and medical shops and an important part of our full continence solution.
Abena’s range of bed protection is also suitable for various types of procedures, e.g. wound care, blood sampling or changing a cast.
The bed protection concept offer both disposable and washable products for:
- Protection of beds and chairs from leakage
- Protection during various procedures
- Acute protection.
Underpads made from PU or PVC in different sizes, with different features and absorption capacities.
- Washable underpads made of PU or PVC
- High absorbency due to distribution of layers
- Can be washed more than 300 times
- No differential shrinking in the layers when washed
- Can be washed up to 95º C and tumble dried on medium heat setting

Place bed pads with the blue side to the bed and the white side up. All underpads are fully washable up to 95 degrees C and can be tumble dried at a low temperature.
Please note fabric conditioner and bleach should not be used on these items as this will affect the absorbency of the product.
These products should not be ironed or dry cleaned.
The underpad should be washed before use.
